A Day in the Life of a Tudor Merchant

Two crewmen appear and you ask them if Captain Gyllyn is aboard. They call out for the captain and he appears from below deck.

"Ah, Master Pryn, we've been expecting you. Come aboard sir, come aboard."

You step on to the ship and Gyllyn takes you down to the hold to inspect the cargo of wine and oil.

"I've declared the oil to customs, but not the wine so we've saved a lot money on duty there sir."
"Excellent. I'll go and see the merchant who's buying the goods and come back with some wages for you and your crew this afternoon."
"Mind you don't take too long now sir. I've got a thirsty crew."
