A Day in the Life of a Tudor Merchant

Your ship is quiet, but when you call aboard the captain, David Gyllyn appears.

"Ah, Master Pryn, we were expecting you earlier."
"Yes sorry, this here is the Nightwatchman. We had a bit of an unfortunate incident earlier. I came on to the ship, I got banged on the head and I think some of your crew might have robbed me."
"Do you mind if we have a look around sir? I'd like to check a few things out."

Gyllyn gives you a worried look. You know that the ship contains cargo that hasn't been declared because you were trying to avoid paying duty on the goods.

Do you want to
offer the official some money to not look around the ship

or
let him look around?. Hopefully he won't notice the extra cargo.
