A Day in the Life of a Tudor Merchant |
You go back a short way to the Frome Gate and find two constables who are escorting a vagrant out of the town. You explain to them what has just happened and which way the robbers went. "Right then! We'd better call the hue and cry. When we catch them we'll give them a public flogging at the whipping post." You'll not get your business done today because now the hue and cry has been called you'll have to help the constables and any other town folk catch the robbers. Anyway, you want to see these men caught and punished. You can try and get to your ship tomorrow. THE END Start again? Back to Tudor Bristol main menu |
