A Day in the Life of a Tudor Merchant

You go down Steep Street. It’s frosty so the usually muddy street is firm underfoot, but just as slippery. Several times you almost lose your footing.

Eventually you get to the Frome gate and bridge. There is a large throng of people heading into the city. Most of these are traders with carts of goods for the market.
