Castle Park Historyscape For full information about Mediascapes and the free software to run them visit the Create-a-Scape website. In order to play a mediascape you will need a Windows operated, GPS enabled, mobile device. Follow the instructions on the Create-a-Scape website and download this file to your PC. When you download the software from Create-a-Scape you will install Mediascape Library to your PC. You can use this software to extract the contents of the Castle Park Historyscape to your mobile device. Download Mediascape (right click, save as) We suggest that you also download and print the accompanying trail leaflet to guide you on your walk. 		Castle Park Historyscape This provides information about Mediascapes and the downloadable Castle Park Historyscape for GPS devices.
When you arrive at the park and load the Mediascape to your device wait a few moments to get a satellite fix on your position. The best place to do this is if you stand in the open area between the Floating Harbour and St Peter's Church. As you walk around the park you will hear pieces of audio and see images on the screen when you arrive at the locations marked on the trail leaflet. These audio clips were recorded during the Archaeology in the Park event. Have fun and please let us know if you have any problems. We will be adding more content to this Mediascape as we hold further events and activities in the park.
